PERMALYN 6110 Synthetic Resin, a very pale, hard, thermoplastic resin, is a pentaerythritol ester of rosin. It is produced by a special process that yields a low-odor, light-colored, very stable product. PERMALYN 6110 Synthetic Resin is used as a resin modifier in elastomers, waxes, film-formers, and various adhesive and protective coating applications.
Extremely pale color and good resistance to thermal degradation, high refractive index, wide solvency, low solution viscosities, excellent gloss and pigment-wetting properties. Compatible at all ratios, or in limited but practically useful proportions, with natural and synthetic rubbers, EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate) copolymers, SIS (styrene-isoprene-styrene) and SBS (styrene-butadiene-styrene) block copolymers, low molecular weight polyethylene, paraffin and microcrystalline waxes.
Very pale, hard, thermoplastic pentaerythritol ester of rosin. Used as a resin modifier in protective coating applications. Offers low odor, light color, good stability, good resistance to thermal degradation, high refractive index, wide solvency, low solution viscosity, very good gloss and pigment-wetting properties.
