Eastman Cellulose Acetate (CA-394-60S) is produced by the controlled esterification of purified raw cellulose with acetic acid and acetic anhydride. It is a very high melting cellulose ester having limited solubility and compatibility and low odor. It offers high strength and good resistance to ultraviolet light, heat, oils, and greases.
