Eastman TXIB is the lowest viscosity (9 cps) plasticizer available. usually blended with DOP or DOTP. TXIB has efficiency generally equal to DOP which makes substituting TXIB in a vinyl formulation very easy. TXIB imparts a dry surface to the vinyl, excellent resistance to staining and physical properties equivalent to DOP. TXIB is also used in urethane elastomers, inks and coatings.
