EFKA-1502 is a dispersing resin tailor-made for the production of VOC-free water-based pigment concentrates. EFKA-1502 shows a good pigment wetting and stabilising performance and excellent compatibility with the resins most commonly used in water-based coatings. Due to the fatty acid modification, EFKA-1502 loses its hydrophilic character during the drying process. EFKA-1502 forms a stable emulsion when diluted with water and does not need to be neutralized.
EFKA-1502 is recommended as a grinding vehicle or in combination with the polymeric dispersant EFKA-4540, for the production of VOC-free water-based pigment concentrates.
Solvent-free and volatile amine-free fatty acid modified polymer in water. Used as a dispersing resin to produce VOC-free pigment concentrates for water-based coatings. Offers good pigment wetting and stabilising performance and very good compatibility with resins commonly used in water-based coatings.
