Silicone-free defoamer for solvent-based coatings

EFKA-2018 can be used as a silicone-free defoamer for various coating systems. It functions well during the application of paints and lacquers, and also prevents the entrapment of air during processing steps such as stirring, pumping, etc.
EFKA-2018 is especially suited for solvent-based wood finishes if foam formation is a problem when applied by spraying or curtain coating. EFKA-2018 has very good compatibility properties which makes it extremely suitable for use in clear coatings. FKA-2018 can be used in:
polyurethane coatings
acid-curing coatings
NC lacquers
Addition: 0.1 - 1.0% on total formulation
Solution of silicone-free defoaming substances in xylene. Used for various coating systems such as solvent-based wood finishes, clear, polyurethane and acid-curing coatings and NC lacquers. Offers efficiency during application. Prevents entrapment of air during processing steps such as stirring and pumping. Suits for spraying or curtain coating applications. Possesses very good compatibility properties. <br>
Use level: 0.1-1.0% on total formulation.
