Defoamer for solvent-based coatings Composition: Solution of defoaming substances containing silicone Application: EFKA-2028 prevents the formation of foam and blisters during the manufacturing and application of solvent-based wood finishes. EFKA-2028 has very good compatibility properties which makes it extremely suitable for use in clear coatings.
Recommended applications: polyurethane coatings unsaturated polyester systems acid curing coatings NC lacquers Addition: 0.1 - 1.0% on total formulation Incorporation: To prevent foaming, EFKA-2028 can be added prior to processing. If it is added to the finished product, care should be taken to ensure uniform distribution.
Defoamer containing silicone. Prevents the formation of foam and blisters during the manufacturing and application of solvent-based wood finishes. Suitable for use in clear coatings. Recommended applications: polyurethane coatings, unsaturated polyester systems, acid curing coatings, NC lacquers.
Recommended usage level: 0.1 - 1.0% on total formulation. Can be added prior to processing. If it is added to the finished product, care should be taken to ensure uniform distribution.
