Defoamer for both spray and brush application of solvent-based wood coatings Composition: Solution of defoaming substances containing fluoro silicone Properties: EFKA-2048 is a defoamer for both spray and brush application of solvent-based wood finishes. Application: EFKA-2048 is especially suited for high gloss solvent-based wood finishes. EFKA-2048 has good compatibility properties and will not give unacceptable haze. EFKA-2048 is extremely suitable for brush applications where the solvents evaporate quickly and rapid defoaming is required: polyurethane coatings, especially 2 component acrylic based acid-curing coatings NC lacquers
Addition: Spray application 0.1 - 0.3 % on total formulation Brush application 0.2 - 0.4 % on total formulation Incorporation: EFKA-2048 should be added at the end of the batch preparation.
Defoamer containing fluoro silicone for both spray and brush application of high gloss solvent-based wood finishes. Has good compatibility properties and will not give unacceptable haze. Suitable for brush applications where the solvents evaporate quickly and rapid defoaming is required: polyurethane coatings (especially 2 component acrylic based), acid-curing coatings, NC lacquers.
Recommended usage level: Spray application 0.1 - 0.3 % on total formulation. Brush application 0.2 - 0.4 % on total formulation. Added at the end of the batch preparation.
