Solvent-free modified polysiloxane
EFKA-3239 improves the general surface characteristics and in particular the following advantages will be gained.
improves levelling and surface smoothness
increases slip and mar-resistance
acts as a defoamer and de-aeration aid
avoids the formation of Bénard cells (anti-floating effect)
EFKA-3239 is especially recommended for the following coatings:
acid cured or polyurethane wood finishes particularly when applied by curtain coating
stoving enamels based on alkyd-, acrylic- or polyester resins
self-levelling epoxy flooring compounds
UV-cured paper lacquers
Addition: 0.05 - 0.5% on total formulation
Solvent-free modified polysiloxane. Used to improve surface characteristics for coatings such as acid cured or polyurethane wood finishes particularly when applied by curtain coating, stoving enamels based on alkyd-, acrylic- or polyester resins, self-levelling epoxy flooring compounds and UV-cured paper lacquers. Improves levelling and surface smoothness. Increases slip and mar-resistance. Avoids formation of Bénard cells (anti-floating effect). Can be used as a defoamer and de-aeration aid. <br>
Use level: 0.05-0.5% on total formulation.
