Additive to improve surface characteristics of aqueous coatings Composition: Modified polysiloxane emulsion (APE-free) Properties: EFKA-3522 is an emulsion of an organically modified polysiloxane, soluble in water. EFKA-3522 promotes the general surface characteristics and improves the following properties: anti-cratering and substrate wetting levelling defoaming
slip and surface smoothness Application: EFKA-3522 is recommended for use in all kinds of water-based coatings. Addition: 0.1 - 1.0% on total formulation Amounts below 0.4% will not cause intercoat adhesion problems. Incorporation: EFKA-3522 should be added at the end of the batch preparation. For easier incorporation EFKA-3522 can be diluted with water. Shake well before use!
Additive that improves anti-cratering and substrate wetting, levelling, defoaming, slip and surface smoothness.
