EFKA-4520 stabilizes the pigment dispersion of inorganic and organic
pigments and improves the following properties:
gloss
colour strength
flocculation stability
anti-flooding
viscosity depressant behaviour
EFKA-4520 is a film-forming polymer with excellent water-resistance.
Application: EFKA-4520 is recommended for use in all kinds of high quality solvent-and
water-based industrial coatings, as well as resin minimal pigment
concentrates for solvent- and water-based coatings.
Complete water-solubility will be obtained by e.g. addition of
1.5% AMP 90.
Incorporation: EFKA-4520 should be incorporated in the mill base before adding the
pigments.
High molecular weight polymeric dispersant for deflocculation of inorganic and organic pigments in solvent and aqueous coatings. Improves gloss, colour strength, flocculation stability. Anti-flooding and viscosity depressant behaviour. Film-forming polymer with excellent water-resistance. Recommended for use in resin minimal pigment concentrates for solvent and water-based coatings.
Should be neutralized to a pH of 8.5 - 9.0 before adding to the mill base. Should be incorporated in the mill base before adding the pigments.
