Properties: EFKA-4530 stabilizes the pigment dispersion of difficult inorganic and
organic pigments and improves the following properties:
gloss
colour strength
flocculation stability
anti-flooding behaviour
EFKA-4530 is a film-forming polymer with excellent water resistance and
wide-spread compatibility in both solvent- and water-based systems.
Before adding to the mill base EFKA-4530 should be neutralized up to
PH of 8.5 - 9.0. Complete water-solubility will be obtained by e.g. addition
of 8.5% AMP 90.
Application: EFKA-4530 is recommended for use in all kinds of solvent- and water-based
coatings, as well as in resin minimal pigment concentrates for both
solvent-based and water-based coatings.
Incorporation: EFKA-4530 should be incorporated in the mill base before adding the
pigments.
High molecular weight polymeric dispersant for deflocculation of inorganic and organic pigments in solvent and aqueous coatings. Improves gloss, colour strength, flocculation stability, anti-flooding behaviour. Film-forming polymer with excellent water resistance and wide-spread compatibility.
