Properties: EFKA-4540 stabilizes the pigment dispersion of inorganic and organic
pigments and improves the following properties:
gloss
colour strength
flocculation stability
anti-flooding behaviour
EFKA-4540 has a widespread compatibility in most commonly used water-based
coatings. EFKA-4540 is completely water-soluble and does not
need to be neutralized.
Application: EFKA-4540 can be used exclusively as a dispersing agent or in
combination with dispersing resin EFKA-1502 to produce VOC-free
pigment concentrates. Also suitable for resin free pigment concentrates
(see our VOC-free guide formulations).
Incorporation: EFKA-4540 should be incorporated in the mill base before adding the
pigments.
High molecular weight polymeric dispersant used to provide VOC-free pigment concentrates for water-based coatings. Improves gloss, colour strength, flocculation stability, anti-flooding behaviour. Is completely water-soluble and doesn't need to be neutralized. Suitable for resin free pigment concentrates.
Should be incorporated in the mill base before adding the pigments.
