Properties: EFKA-4550 stabilizes the pigment dispersion of inorganic and organic
pigments and improves the following properties:
gloss
colour strength
flocculation stability
anti-flooding behaviour
EFKA-4550 is pH-independent and has a widespread compatibility in most
commonly used water-based coatings. EFKA-4550 is completely water-soluble
and does not need to be neutralized.
Application: EFKA-4550 can be used exclusively as a dispersing agent or to produce
Resin Free Pigment Concentrates for ultra low VOC industrial coatings.
Incorporation: EFKA-4550 should be incorporated in the mill base before adding the
pigments.
High molecular weight, pH-independent polymeric dispersant for deflocculation of inorganic and organic pigments in aqueous coatings and pigment concentrates. Improves gloss, colour strength, flocculation stability, anti-flooding behaviour. Doesn't need to be neutralized. Can be used exclusively as a dispersing agent or to produce Resin Free Pigment Concentrates for ultra low VOC industrial coatings.
Should be incorporated in the mill base before adding the pigments.
