Application: EFKA-5063 is particularly suited for the following binder systems: air-dried short-oil alkyd resins alkyd/amino resin blends acrylic resin blends polyurethane-systems 2-pack systems chlorinated polymers
EFKA-5063 is not compatible with white spirit or systems which are diluted
with white spirit.
Incorporation: EFKA-5063 should be added prior the dispersion process.
Wetting and dispersing additive for pigments suspension and elimination of flooding and floating. Becomes hazy at low temperatures but this process can be reversed by heating. Helps to prevent interfacial tension between the hydrophilic pigments/extenders and the binder. Reduces dispersion time. Provides stabilization of the pigment dispersion and decreases pigment sedimentation. Increases gloss and flow.
Suitable for air-dried short-oil alkyd resins, alkyd/amino resin blends, acrylic resin blends, polyurethane-systems, 2-pack systems, chlorinated polymers. Not compatible with white spirit or systems which are diluted with white spirit.
Should be added prior the dispersion process.
