Due to its wide compatibility and the combination with a polysiloxane, the following advantages can be achieved: reduced dispersion time and stabilization of the pigment dispersion prevention of flooding and floating reduced pigment sedimentation reduced tendency to 'orange-peel' improved gloss and levelling EFKA-5070 is especially suitable to stabilize all kinds of pigments and is applied in solvent-based industrial coatings like: alkyd/amino resin combinations acrylic polyisocyanate systems nitrocellulose systems polyurethane and chlorinated polymer systems chlorinated polymers High molecular weight unsaturated polycarboxylic acids and esters, combined with a compatible organically modified polysiloxane in alkylbenzene. Used as a wetting and dispersing agent to prevent flooding and floating of pigments for solvent-based industrial coatings such as alkyd/amino resin combinations, acrylic polyisocyanate systems, nitrocellulose systems, polyurethane and chlorinated polymer systems. Helps to prevent interfacial tension between hydrophilic pigments/extenders and binder. Offers reduced dispersion time, stabilization of pigment dispersion, reduced pigment sedimentation, reduced tendency to "orange-peel&quot and improved gloss and slip.
