Application: EFKA-6780 can be used in most kinds of coating systems containing polar and non-polar solvents. In paints which contain only white spirit, EFKA-6780 should be pre-diluted with butanol 1 : 1 or 1 : 2 before addition. This improves the solubility and distribution and thus the efficiency. Since EFKA-6780 is of cationic nature, the incorporation into a formulation containing other additives must be checked prior to use. Anionic components can react with EFKA-6780 and cause reduced efficiency. Addition: 0.2 - 2.0% on total formulation Incorporation: EFKA-6780 should be added at the end of the batch preparation. Halogen-free, cationic compound used to increase conductivity of coating systems containing polar and non-polar solvents, important for electrostatic sprayed paints. Haziness or crystallization is possible at very low temperatures and reversible on warming up to room temperature.
