Application: EFKA-6782 can be used in coating systems, containing polar and non-polar solvents. In paints containing only white spirit, EFKA-6782 should be pre-diluted with butanol 1 : 1 or 1 : 2 before addition for better solubility, distribution and efficiency. EFKA-6782 is cationic in nature, so the incorporation into a formulation containing other additives must be checked prior to use. Anionic components can influence EFKA-6782 leading to reduced efficiency. Wetting agents from our 4000- and 5000-series can be used without limitation. Addition: 0.1 ¨C 1.0% on total formulation Incorporation: EFKA-6782 should be added at the end of the batch preparation. Halogen-free cationic additive used to increase conductivity of coating systems containing polar and non-polar solvents (important for electrostatic sprayed paints). Crystallization is possible at low temperatures which is reversible by warming up to room temperature. In paints which contain only white spirit, it should be pre-diluted with butanol 1:1 or 1:2 before addition for better solubility, distribution and efficiency. Its incorporation into a formulation containing other additives must be checked prior to use. Anionic components can react with it and cause reduced efficiency. Recommended usage level: 0.1 - 1.0% on total formulation. Should be added at the end of the batch preparation.
