Properties: EFKA-6903 has a relatively high melting point. Its main use is in printing
inks and coating systems. It gives the following advantages:
increases slip
increases anti-blocking properties
improves sandability
improves scratch resistance
improves water resistance
functions as a matting agent
Addition: 0.5 - 2.5% based on total weight
Incorporation: In pigmented systems it is preferable to incorporate EFKA-6903 during
pigment dispersion. In clear coatings it should be incorporated using a
high speed dissolver.
Matting agent which also improves scratch resistance and the anti-blocking performance of coating systems. Has a relatively high melting point. Increases slip, anti-blocking properties. Improves sandability, scratch resistance, water resistance.
Recommended usage level: 0.5 - 2.5% based on total weight. In pigmented systems, should be incorporated during pigment dispersion. In clear coatings should be incorporated using a high speed dissolver.
