BENAQUA 1000 rheological additive is a newly developed water-soluble polymer, derived from a natural polysaccharide. It is highly efficient and is a cost effective alternative to high viscosity grade hydroxy ethyl cellulose.

The typical level of addition depends on the
desired consistency of the system. Typically from
0.1% to 3.0% by weight on the total formulation is
required.
Derivative of natural polysaccharide. Used as a thickening agent for waterborne systems. Offers high efficiency. Provides stable shear-thinning viscosity over a broad temperature range and good flow and levelling. Improves sag and slump resistance. Gives good water retention properties and very good suspension properties. Does not interfere with colour development. <br>
Applications: emulsion paints, paper coatings, construction products, waterborne inks and pigment suspensions. <br>
Use level: 0.1-3.0% by weight on the total formulation.
