BENGEL® 818 demonstrates excellent dispersibility compared to conventional organoclay. It provides good thixothropy, sag resistance, and anti settling properties.
It is a super dispersible grade, will provide great flexibility in manufacturing process.
It is recommended to be used in systems like air dry long oil alkyd enamel, polyurethane sanding sealer, general industrial maintenance and aliphatic systems.
Applications
It is an efficient replacement for BENGEL® 434, in aliphatic systems, especially for applications where the super dispersibility attribute should be utilised as advantage.
When non-aliphatic solvent presents, the effectiveness of BENGEL® 818 should be evaluated. Post add is not recommended when systems contain primarily aromatic solvents.
A combination application with MPA® additives will provide great synergies in anti settling effect.
BENGEL® 818 demonstrates excellent anti settling performance in sanding sealer formulation.
In long oil alkyd, it demonstrates superior thixotropy and sag resistance performance.
