This new rheological additive is designed for use in the dispersion phase of paint making without the use of a chemical activator. With greater efficiency and better reproducibility, BENTONE 1000 gives the paint manufacturer added time, energy and raw material cost savings. Use levels are typically 0.2-2.0% by weight of the system, with the level dependent upon the degree of thickening, control of sag and pigment settling desired.
