DAPRO DF 3163 Foam Suppressor is a highly effective silicone free foam suppressor that can be used to prevent foam formation in water based coating systems. DAPRO DF 3163 Foam Suppressor is specially recommended
against microfoam in applied coatings.
All non-volatile components of DAPRO DF 3163 Foam Suppressor are FDA compliant under CFR Title 21 CFR 175.105; 176.170;176.180; 176.200 and 176.210.
Applications
DAPRO DF 3163 Foam Suppressor is specially recommended for use in car refinishing coatings, automotive (OEM) finishes, electro deposition primers, plastic coatings and high gloss wood finishes. It can also be used in waterborne architectural coatings to prevent bubbling that may result from roller application.It is effective at high pH and can be used to prevent foam in inorganic silicate architectural paints.
DAPRO DF 3163 provides the following benefits:Good storage stability,effective over wide pH range,suitable for addition during either the millbase or let-down phase,no adverse impact in coating gloss,very resistant to cratering and fish-eyes.
