DAPRO DF 4164 Foam Suppressor can be used to prevent foam formation during mixing and provide rapid bubble breaking in applied wet films. All non-volatile components of DAPRO DF4164 Foam Suppressor are FDA compliant . Applications DAPRO DF 4164 Foam Suppressor is specially recommended for use in industrial and maintenance coatings and wood finishes. It can also be used in waterborne architectural coatings to preventing bubbling that may result from roller application. DAPRO® DF4164 Foam Suppressor is a very effective foam suppressor in architectural coatings with associative thickeners.DAPRO DF4164 Foam Suppressor provides the following benefits-Good storage stability,Easy incorporation.,Suitable for addition to let down phase,No adverse effect on coating properties, No interference with associative thickeners. Additions of 0.2 – 0.6% (by weight on total amount of coating) of DAPRO DF4164 Foam Suppressor will provide optimum performance. Dapro foam suppressors silicone free for aquous sytems. Provides air release and bubble-breaking in most coatings and similar materials. Especially effective in preventing bubbling and pinholing that may result from roller application. Provides excellent effective over wide pH range, excellent bubble resistance when mixing, excellent bubble resistance on roll-out, excellent resistance to crawling and fish eyes, excellent long-term stability, excellent ease of incorporation. Recommended usage level: 0.2-0.6% by weight based on finished formula. One-half should be added during milling and the remainder during let down.
