DAPRO® FX 2050 is a highly effective polymeric thickening agent for use in solvent-borne industrial coatings.
APPLICATION AND PROPERTIES
The addition of DAPRO® FX 2050 improves the rheological properties of solvent-borne industrial paints by increasing the low shear viscosity and providing the paint a thixotropic behaviour. This will result in good anti-sagging and anti-settling properties in which a good levelling is retained.
In comparison with some other competitive thickeners DAPRO® FX 2050 is easy to incorporate and will not need a minimum production temperature and is seeding resistant. False body effects are also minimised with the use of DAPRO® FX 2050.DAPRO® FX 2050 is best used in conjunction with high solid and conventional industrial resins such as polyester baking enamels,2K epoxy resins and 2K PU resins.
