Monoethylene glycol is a colorless, odorless, and slightly viscous liquid, more hygroscopic than glycerol and miscible with water in all
proportions. This grade is used as an intermediate for the manufacture of polyester resins and fibers.
Polyester grade EG is used in the manufacture of polyester fibers and polyethylene terephalate (PET) resins, used in making a number of products including textiles, tire cords, video tapes, and soft drink and water containers.
Monoethylene glycol. Colorless, odorless, and slightly viscous liquid, more hygroscopic than glycerol.
