Dioctyltin Mercaptide
Catalyst is offering urethane formulators important advantages over dibutyltin dilaurate (DBTDL). Can be used in urethane applications such as microcellular elastomers, reaction-injection molded (RIM) formulations, shoe soles or automotive applications.
provides an important delayed-action
catalytic effect that, in microcellular or RIM formulations, can
increase pot life at ambient or low temperatures. Final cure times
at elevated temperatures generally are equivalent to those
obtained with dibutyltin dilaurate.
this delayed action facilitates better
filling of mold cavities prior to foaming of high-density,
polyester or polyether, microcellular urethane systems.
Fomrez UL-29 catalyst has an extremely low freezing point,
facilitating handling at lower temperatures.
