Catalyst for water-blown urethane elastomers or foams blown with alternate blowing agents including the pentanes. This product provides polyurethane manufacturers and systems suppliers with important new advantages over dibutyltin dilaurate (DBTDL), where hydrolytic resistance and delayed action are desired. Can also be used for preparation of one-shot or prepolymer type, polyether-based, urethane
elastomers, as well as adhesives and sealants.
High resistance to hydrolysis and extended shelf life. This improved hydrolytic stability affords
the opportunity for extended shelf life of urethane system “B”
components compared to those made with DBTDL. This extended
shelf life is important, since it enables preparation of larger
batches for use over longer periods of time.
