GP-1 is especially designed for use in water-free emulsifiable oils, such as in metalworking lubricant "soluble" oils employed in industry. In this application, GP-1 offers superior compatibility with petroleum oil carriers when compared to conventional silicone antifoam compounds. Due to its greater oil compatibility characteristics, GP-1 resists plate-out or deposition on metal chips or fines during cutting or grinding operations. This allows extended long-term defoaming effectiveness. GP-1 is intended for industrial use only and is not approved for food applications. Some of the special properties of GP-1 are as follows: Excellent Foam Knock Down Compatible with Soluble Oils Will Not Plate-Out during Metalworking Process Persistent Foam Control Paints and Coatings Active foam control agent based on a combination of organo-modified silicone polymers, silica, waxes and light hydrocarbon oils. Used in water-free emulsifiable oils such as paints and coatings. Offers superior compatibility with petroleum oil carriers, extended long-term defoaming effectiveness and very good foam knock down. Does not plate-out.
