GP-12 is especially designed to give optimum compatibility in water-free emulsifiable oils such as in metalworking lubricant "soluble" oils employed in industry. The enhanced compatibility of GP-12 in these products gives optimum defoaming characteristics as compared with conventional silicone antifoam compounds, even after long periods of storage of soluble oil products. GP-12 is intended for industrial use only and is not approved for food applications. Some of the special properties of GP-12 are as follows: Excellent Foam Knock Down Compatible with Soluble Oils Will Not Plate-Out during Metalworking Process Persistent Foam Control Paints and Coatings Active foam control agent based on a combination of organo-modified silicone polymers, silica, waxes and light hydrocarbon oils. Used to give optimum compatibility in water-free emulsifiable oils such as paints and coatings. Offers enhanced compatibility with petroleum oil carriers, optimum defoaming characteristics, very good foam knock down and persistence. Does not plate-out.
