SILICONE POLYOL COPOLYMER
GP-491 is a 100% active polyoxyethylene (EO) modified dimethylpolysiloxane block copolymer. GP-491 is water-dispersible and resistant to breakdown by hydrolysis due to the presence of stable Si - C bonds between silicone and polyol block sections. GP-491 is recommended for use as a wetting agent or emulsifier in water-based coatings, inks, polishes and hard surface cleaners. Additionally, GP-491 may be used as a dispersing agent for the incorporation of clays, pigments and other powders in water.Other applications include the following:

Offers low surface tension and low freeze point.
