Some of the special properties of GP-6 are listed below: High Amine-Alkyl Content Stable Indefinitely in Closed Containers Good Heat Stability The amine-alkyl functionality of GP-6 provides a versatile reaction site for the synthesis of a variety of silicone-organic copolymers which may be tailored for use in textiles, coatings, car polishes and many other applications. The polar amine groups in GP-6 demonstrate a high affinity for many substrates, suggesting uses of GP-6 in lubricant, coating and mold release formulations.
