EPOXY FUNCTIONAL SILICONE RESIN SOLUTION
GP-667 is a 50% active epoxy functional silicone polymer in solution. The epoxy functionality in GP-667 allows for rapid cross linking with standard amine curing agents. Selecting the proper curing agent is dependent on application techniques, pot life requirements, cure conditions and physical properties needed. Cured coatings formed from GP-667 yield a flexible, non-stick surface film, with good weather resistance and durability. This strongly suggests applications involving protection of ferrous and nonferrous metals exposed to extreme abrasion conditions, or where it is desirable to minimize sticking of adhesives to the treated surface. The following list summarizes some of the special features of GP-667:
Forms Highly Adhesive Flexible Coatings
Extremely Durable
Acts as a Rust Inhibitor
Forms Clear, Cured Films
Abrasion Resistant
Excellent Bonding
Excellent Release Properties
Excellent Weathering Resistance
Chemical Resistant
Curable at Ambient or Elevated Temperatures
Rust Inhibiting Coating
Marine & Industrial Maintenance Coatings
Barnacle Release and antifouling Coatings
Coil Coatings
Conductive Coatings
Copper and Brass Protective Coating
GP-667 has an additive that causes the films formed by this product to have better release properties.
Active epoxy functional silicone polymer in solution. Offers rapid cross linking with standard amine curing agents at ambient and elevated temperatures to form highly adhesive flexible coatings. Offers great adhesion to coated surfaces, improved durability, non-stick and rust inhibiting characteristics, abrasion resistance, very good release properties, very good weathering resistance and chemical resistance. Possesses an additive to improve release properties. <br>
Applications: rust inhibiting, marine, industrial maintenance, barnacle release and antifouling, coil, conductive and copper and brass protective coatings.
