HALOX FLASH-X is used in the manufacture of water-base protective coatings as an effective liquid additive for inhibition of flash rust and in-can rusting. FLASH-X has demonstrated excellent flash rust performance on various metal substrates ranging from iron, steel and galvanized to galv-alum and zinc-alum.

HALOX® FLASH-X is compatible with a variety of latices without causing film sensitivities or package stability problems that can occur with other flash rust additives.
FLASH-X is easy to use and can be incorporated at any stage of coating manufacture. It can also be easily and effectively post-added to any coating system.
