These include dental impression materials and other elastic molds, as well as adhesives, coatings, casting and encapsulating materials for electrical and electronic applications. These products are dimethyl siloxane and methyl hydrogen siloxane copolymers used as crosslinkers for vinyl-functional silicone polymers . The SiH group content, which is determined by the ratio of dimethyl siloxane and methyl hydrogen siloxane groups, is characteristic of these products. Crosslinkers 100-125 are trimethyl silyl terminated, while Crosslinkers 200 and 210 also have SiH groups at the chain ends. Trimethyl silyl terminated, dimethyl siloxane-methyl hydrogen siloxane copolymer with SiH groups at the chain ends. Used as a crosslinker for vinyl-functional silicone polymers for the manufacture of addition curing formulation such as 2-part silicone formulation for coatings.
