Aquaflow® rheology modifiers are Aqualon’s line of nonionic and anionic associative polymers. These liquid, synthetic products thicken primarily by self-association and interaction with other coatings ingredients.
Aquaflow ALS-400, an anionic rheology modifier, provides high thickening efficiency for economical paints. It is a hydrophobically modified alkali-soluble emulsion (HASE). Testing has shown that ALS-400 can deliver higher thickening efficiency and better colorant compatibility than other commercially available HASE products.
