Advantage® 1512 Defoamer is a hydrocarbon oil-based
antifoaming agent formulated for uses where
a combination of immediate action and persistent
foam control is required. It performs in aqueous
foaming systems created by a variety of surfactants,
and retains its efficiency over wide variations in pH,
temperature and other operating conditions.
Easily dispersible in aqueous systems
Efficiency not effected by temperature, pH, or the hardness of the system
Excellent mechanical stability and exhibits long-lasting effectiveness
Advantage 1512 Defoamer is designed for use in
aqueous systems where foam must be controlled by
chemical means and where usual defoamers do not
provide adequate endurance under conditions of
high temperature and high surfactant concentrations.
Specifically, it is recommended for controlling
entrained air and surface foaming aqueous
production and/or application processes involving
high concentrations of foam-generating surfactants
such as soaps, detergents, various other cleaning
compounds, and aqueous-based adhesives.
