Advantage® 357 Defoamer is a high efficiency,
hydrocarbon oil-based antifoaming agent. It is
designed especially for use in water-based paint
systems. It is formulated to control foam at any point
during manufacture, packaging, or application of the
paint. It effectively controls latexs in styrene-butadiene,
polyvinyl acetate, and acrylic types.
Advantage 357 is readily dispersible and remains
effective after many foam killers have dissipated.
Controls foam without creating fisheyes.
Does not contain silicone oils.
Effective in a variety of latex systems.
Effective in a wide variety of applications.
Advantage 357 may be useful for controlling
entrained air and surface foam in production and/or
application processes such as
water-based printing inks
Advantage 357 also improves the drainage rate in
processes involving dewatering and filtering
operations.
