ICM

Physical form................Clear Liquid Special Properties.........Reactive Glycol/Silicone structure makes very organo-compatible. Primary use...................Mar Resistance for Paints, Inks, and Coatings ICM 1111 Additive is a reactive silicone-glycol copolymer that offers both silanol and carbinol functionality. It is used to improve mar, rub, and abrasion resistance in a variety of solvent- based systems. ICM 1111 Additive also helps improve slip, gloss, wetting, and leveling. APPLICATIONS: Solvent-Borne Mar, Rub, and Abrasion Resistance Additional Benefits Slip Gloss Leveling / Wetting HOW TO USE: Typical concentrations of 0.1-0.5% by weight, based upon total solids. ICM 1111 is typically added in the final thinning and color-matching step. Suitable Diluents include: Aromatics, mineral spirits, or ketones Reactive silicone-glycol structure makes very organo compatible. Offers silanol and carbinol functionality. Used to improve mar, rub, and abrasion resistance. Also improves slip, gloss, wetting, and leveling. Recommended usage level: 0.1-0.5% by weight, based upon total solids. Should be added in the final thinning and color-matching step.
