Silicone-Glycol copolymer

ICM

Physical form................Liquid paste Special Properties.........Reactive, water-soluble, Glycol/Silicone structure. Primary use...................Mar Resistance for Paints, and Coatings ICM 1121 Additive is a reactive silicone-glycol copolymer that is primarily silanol-functional. It is used to as an anti-blocking aid and to increase gloss in solvent-borne Coatings. ICM 1121 Additive also shows excellent water resistance in certain coating formulations. It also finds applications as a leveling-wetting agent in Inks. APPLICATIONS: Anti-Blocking Aid Gloss Enhancer Secondary Benefits Improves Water Resistance Leveling / Wetting HOW TO USE: Typical concentrations of 0.1-1.0% by weight, based upon total solids. ICM 1121 is typically added in the final thinning and color-matching step. Reactive silicone-glycol copolymer that is primarily silanol-functional. Anti-blocking additive. Increases gloss and water resistance in certain coating formulations. Recommended usage level: 0.1-1.0% by weight, based upon total solids. Should be added in the final thinning and color-matching step.
