This dispersion is designed for use in paints, caulks, stucco, and coatings. It demonstrates excellent performance in these substrates, showing the following principal features: Highly effective against a wide spectrum of fungi and algae Non-leaching Suitable for use in both exterior paints and caulks, stucco, and coatings NUOCIDE® 2002 microbiocide is highly effective in the control of fungi and algae associated with growth on exterior paints. It can be added during the pigment grind operation of paint manufacture, during or after letdown, or post-added to the finished product. To ensure a uniform mixture of NUOCIDE® 2002 microbiocide, gentle mixing is recommended before use. Generally, 5-20 pounds of NUOCIDE® 2002 microbiocide per 100 gallons of exterior paint are sufficient for effective prevention of fungi and algae growth on the surface of paint film. Specific recommendations are governed by the particular paint formulation and the exposure environment. NUOCIDE® 2002 microbiocide is compatible with latex paints containing zinc oxide. It can be used in acrylic, vinyl-acrylic or polyvinyl acetate latexes. Thermally stable under normal storage temperatures. Stable to radiation.
