bethoxazin
BETHOGUARD is a metalfree, halogenfree fungicide/ algicide,
of a new chemical class, for stains, moulds and algae control
in paints, stains, coatings and inks
BETHOGUARD is resistant to hydrolysis up to pH 9.
BETHOGUARD is thermal stable up to 170 °C.
Photodegradation occurs in strongly diluted waterbased
systems. Paints & stains containing BETHOGUARD as a
filmpreservative or bluestain agent, give excellent long term
outdoor protection. BETHOGUARD is very low water soluble
(33.4 mg/L, 20 °C) and non volatile.
BETHOGUARD is a broadspectrum mouldicide and algaecide.
For filmpreservation concentrations ranging between
0,15 - 0,5 % w/w or combinations with other film
preservatives are recommended.
Stable in solvent borne and aqueous formulations
Environmentally acceptable
Metal-free, halogen-free, non volatile bethoxazin. Used as a broad spectrum mouldicide, fungicide and algicide for paints, stains, coatings and inks. Provides very good long term outdoor protection. Possesses stability in solvent borne and aqueous formulations. <br>
