HIKOTACK is an Aromatic Hydrocarbon resin used extensively in paints and printing inks. These resins are polymerized and purified by KOLON proprietary processes. The starting material for the resin is the cracked oil which is a by-product (containing olefins and diolefins) of steam cracking of naphtha for the production of ethylene and propylene.
