Scuranate® TX is an isocyanate used in the production of polyurethanes for flexible foam applications ranging from furniture, bedding, and carpet underlay, to transportation and packaging. Scrunate is also used in the manufacture of coatings, sealants, adhesives, and elastomers.
Scuranate® TX is a mixture of the 2,4 and 2,6 isomers with a high concentration of 2,4 isomer. It is produced during the refining of T80 at the Pont-de-Claix, France site. It is used principally in paints, coatings, adhesives, and binders.
