Our inorganic cadmium-based pigments - yellows, oranges, reds and maroons - are the brightest pigments on the market. Our pigments provide highly-desirable characteristics for various markets. coil coatings high heat stability and clean bright colors. Superior tinting strength and hiding power - these high-strength cadmium pures are 10-25% stronger than conventional pure cadmium pigments and provide the required tinting strength using less pigment. Color purity and uniformity - cleaner and brighter in masstone than other cadmiums, produced under conditions of rigid quality control for batch - to-batch consistency. Superior dispersibility - contributes to the exceptional tinting strength and hiding power of these pigments. Heat stability / Recycleability - outstanding resistance to heat in excess of 700o F depending on application. No pigments of comparable chroma/hue can withstand repeated processing at such high temperatures without deterioration. Light permanency - excellent in both masstone and tint in most plastic and coating systems. However, cadmium yellows are not recommended for exterior coatings where moisture can penetrate the film in the presence of sunlight. Non-migration - in all recommended applications, these pigments are non-bleeding, non-crocking, and non-migrating. Chemical stability - these inorganic pigments will not dissolve in or react with organic media. Chemical resistance - High resistance to alkali and mild acids. Opacity - Combined with high color brightness, offers application advantages and economy in thin film high performance coatings. Inorganic cadmium-based pigment. Used in coil coatings. Provides high heat stability and clean bright color. Offers superior tinting strength and hiding power, color purity and uniformity, superior dispersibility, light permanency, chemical stability, high resistance to alkali and mild acids and opacity.
