ALCOGUM? polymers are pre-activated high molecular weight rheology modifiers used to viscosify a wide range of adhesive compounds. ALCOGUM thickeners provide stable viscosity over a broad pH range and are resistant to biological degradation.
ALCOGUM 1370 is a polyacrylate gum thickener, which is used to viscosify waterborne
compounds in a variety of applications.
ALCOGUM 1370 can be used to thicken styrene-butadiene, acrylonitrile, neoprene, and acrylic
latex compounds. It is also an effective thickener for ethylene vinyl acetate copolymers.
ALCOGUM 1370 has been used in many applications including the following:
