ALCOGUM HPT is a methanol-free synthetic gum thickener with excellent efficiency, stability and flow properties. ALCOGUM HPT is a slightly opaque polyacrylate copolymer which can be used as a thickener in natural and synthetic latexes for a wide variety of applications. Carpet
compounds, specialty coatings and adhesives, and textile compounds are some of the product's primary applications.
ALCOGUM HPT is effective with most binder and pigment types and offers formulators the following benefits: Methanol free viscosifier with improved efficiency, reduced "AS IS" viscosity for easy handling, effective in low and high solids formulations, enhanced stability over all compound loading ranges.
