ALCOGUM® L-245 is an acrylate-based emulsion copolymer supplied at 30% active solids in water. The process employed in the manufacture of ALCOGUM L-245 allows fine control of the polymer structure and molecular weight to meet the specific rheology and water retention requirements of the paper and paperboard coating industries. Control of these properties can have a positive effect on runnability and surface properties.
It possesses liquid for ease of handling and metering, effective viscosity build at most coating solids, provides excellent water retention, shear tolerance.
