ALCOGUM SL-70 is an acrylate-based emulsion copolymer supplied at 30% active solids in water. This product is part of a unique line of hydrophobically modified, alkali soluble emulsion polymers typically referred to as HASE thickeners. The process employed in the manufacture of ALCOGUM SL-70 allows for fine control of the polymer structure and molecular weight to provide optimized performance in a broad range of application areas. Such applications include adhesive and textile compounding, paint formulation, detergent and cleaning compositions, construction compounding, latex coatings, pigment mining, and particulate suspension.
It possesses an electrolyte tolerance, provides clear solutions and gels, synergistic interaction with nonionic surfactants, compatible with anionic and nonionic surfactants, compatible with pH >10.0 formulations.
