NEVROZ® 1875 Resin, which supersedes NEVROZ® 1850 Resin, has marginal vegetable oil solubility, lower tack and greater reactivity. It is recommended for heatset and sheetfed gelled letdown vehicles and as a primary resin in vegetable oil based coldset inks. More reactivity with most aluminum gellants. Assists in rapid solvent release. Allows pumpable rheology at processing temperatures for all gel vehicles. Compatible with modified rosin esters. Promotes lower tack in varnishes compared to NEVROZ® 1420 resin. Modified hydrocarbon resin. Used for heatset and sheetfed gelled letdown vehicles and as a primary resin in vegetable oil based coldset inks. Offers low tack in varnishes, great reactivity with most aluminum gellants, rapid solvent release, pumpable rheology at processing temperatures for all gel vehicles and compatibility with modified rosin esters.
