Vycar 576 is a plasticized vinyl chloride copolymer emulsion designed for use in adhesives, coatings and binders. These emulsions are often used as heat seal adhesives for vinyl substrates. The glass transition temperature ( Tg ) of Vycar 576 is 14 ºC. Vycar 576 offers low flammability and is suitable as a flame retardant.

Vycar 576 is a 56% solids anionically stabilized phthalate plasticized vinyl chloride copolymer emulsion.
Vycar 576 is not freeze-thaw stable.
Anionically stabilized phthlate plasticized vinyl chloride copolymer emulsion. Used in flame retardant coatings. Possesses low flammability. Can be used as a flame retardant. Provides high gloss, outstanding light stability, good toughness, adhesion to vinyl substrates and very good heat sealability.
